Aloo bhaji / patato fry
Preparation timing 30 minutes
Ingredients:
  • Potato - 4 medium size (sliced)
  • Onion - 1 (medium size)
  • Green chilly - 2 ( finely chopped)
  • Garlic - 2 to 3 cloves
  • Coriander leaves -  finely chopped
  • Mustard oil - 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Roasted peanuts for garnishing

Direction:

  • Firstly wash and peel the potatoes well then cut them in small pieces
  • Heat 2 tbsp of mustard oil in a pan add mustard seeds and cumin seeds
  • Fry the mustard seeds and cumin seeds until splatter 
  • Add chopped onions fry about onions turn golden
  • Further add chopped green chilly and chopped garlic cook it for  minute
  • Then add potatoes and saute it 
  • Additionally add turmeric powder , red chilly powder , and salt 
  • Mix it well and fry it for 2 minutes
  • Cover the pan until properly cooked
  • Then open the lid and add  some chopped coriander leaves
  • Garnish with some roasted peanuts
  • Serve the potato fry with parathas in break fast
