Aloo bhaji / patato fry
Ingredients:
- Potato - 4 medium size (sliced)
- Onion - 1 (medium size)
- Green chilly - 2 ( finely chopped)
- Garlic - 2 to 3 cloves
- Coriander leaves - finely chopped
- Mustard oil - 2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds - 2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Roasted peanuts for garnishing
Direction:
- Firstly wash and peel the potatoes well then cut them in small pieces
- Heat 2 tbsp of mustard oil in a pan add mustard seeds and cumin seeds
- Fry the mustard seeds and cumin seeds until splatter
- Add chopped onions fry about onions turn golden
- Further add chopped green chilly and chopped garlic cook it for minute
- Then add potatoes and saute it
- Additionally add turmeric powder , red chilly powder , and salt
- Mix it well and fry it for 2 minutes
- Cover the pan until properly cooked
- Then open the lid and add some chopped coriander leaves
- Garnish with some roasted peanuts
- Serve the potato fry with parathas in break fast
