Almond milk/ Badam milk
Preparation timing 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- Almond - 50 gms
- Sugar - 2tbsp (to taste)
- Full cream milk - 2 cups
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 tspn
- Saffron - few threads ( optional)
Direction:
- Soak the almonds over night or 5-6 hours
- Peel the skin of almond and wash it properly
- Heat a pan add milk to it
- Let the milk boiled completely
- Meanwhile take a mixing jar put the soaked almonds and add 1/4 cup of milk
- Make a smooth paste
- once the milk is completely boiled reduce the flame to low
- Keep stirring for 5-6 minutes till milk thickens
- Add sugar, cardamom powder and mix it well
- Then add almond paste and mix well
- Keep stirring and boiled it for another 2 - 3 minute
- Transfer it into a serving glass and garnish with few saffrons
- You can refrigerate for 2-3 hours serve chiilled or serve hot
