Watermelon juice
Preparation timing 5-6 minutes

Ingredients:
  • Watermelon - 750 grms
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup or to taste 
  • Mint leaf - 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice - 2 tbspn
  • Black salt - 1/2 tspn 
  • Ice cubes - 4 -5 

Direction:

  • Firstly take out the pulp of the watermelon and cut them into small pieces
  • Take a mixing jar add watermelon pieces , sugar , mint leaf , black salt and ice cubes 
  • Grind it for 2 -3 minutes then add lemon juice to it
  • Strain the watermelon juice through a strainer
  • Pour it into a serving glass and add top with some extra ice cubes
  • Garnish with a spring of mint leaf and serve chilled

Cucumber juice

Preparetion timing 5 - 6 minutes

Ingredients:
  • Cucumber - 2 (peeled)
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch
  • Mint leaves - 1/2 cup ( optional)
  • Lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • Ice cubes - 2-3 ( while serving)
  • Chilled water - 1 cup
 Direction:
  • Firstly wash and peel the cucumbers and cut them into small pieces
  • Take a grinding jar make a puree of cucumber , ginger , mint leaves and salt
  • Strain the puree through a strainer into a bowl
  • Add lime juice and chilled water stir it well
  • Pour the juice into serving glass and add the top with some ice cubes
  • Now your cucumber juice is ready to serve

Indian masala tea / chai 

Preparetion timing 5 – 10 minutes

Ingredients:
  •   Water – 2 cups
  •  Milk – 1 cup
  •  Tea powder - 2 tbsp
  •   Ginger – 1 inch chrushed
  •    Cardamom  – 2 whole crushed
  •   Cloves - 2 pcs crushed
  •   Sugar – 2 ½ tspn or to taste

Directions :
  •  Boil 2 cups of water in a sauce pan let the water boiled completely.
  • While the water is boiling meanwhile crush the ginger , cloves  and            cardamom roughly. 
  •   Further add tea powder and crushed ginger cloves and cardamom into       the boiling water.
  •   Let it boil for for a minute.
  •  Then add milk, sugar and simmer until the tea comes to boil
  • You can see the color of the tea is getting darker
  • Now switch off the flame and strain the tea with a mesh strainer into cups 
  •   Serve it with some cookies.

Mango yogurt smoothie
Preparation timing 10 minutes

Ingredients:
  • Mango - 2 large
  • Curd / yogurt  - 1 cup
  • Honey - 2 tbsp
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Ice cubes - 6 - 7
  • Cashew nuts / Almonds for garnishing

Direction:


  • Firstly peel the mangoes and separate the stone from pulp
  • Take a grinding jar add mango pulp , curd / yogurt , milk , honey and ice cubes 
  • Blend it till becomes smooth
  • Pour the mixture into serving glass and garnish with some chopped cashew nuts and almonds
  • Now your banana yogurt smoothie is ready

Sevai / Vermicelli upma

Preparation timing 25 minutes

Ingredients:
  • Sevai / vermicelli - 1 cups
  • Water -
    1 ½ 
    cups
  • Onion - 1 medium size onion ( finely chopped)
  • Green chilly - 1 ( finely chopped)
  • Ginger- 1 inch ( grated)
  • Carrot - 1 ( finely chopped)
  • French beans - 50 gms ( finely chopped)
  • Coriander leaves - 2tspn ( finely chopped)
  • Curry leaves - 4 -5 
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1tspn
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tspn
  • Urad dal - 1/2 tspn
  • Channa dal - 1/2 tspn
  • Asafoetida - 1/4 tspn
  • Peanuts - 2 tbsp
  •  Oil- 4 tspn
  • salt to taste 

Direction:

  • Firstly take a pan add 2 tspn of oil then add vermicelli / sevai and roast for 2 -3 minutes in low flame
  • When the colour of the vermicelli turned golden, keep it aside and let it cool
  • Now take a kadai heat 2 tspn of oil, 1/2 tspn of cumin seeds , 1/2 tspn of mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp of urad dal, 1/2 tsp of channa dal, assafoetida , curry leaves and peanuts.
  • Roast the peanuts untill chrunchy
  • Then add chopped onion and saute untill golden
  • Further add chopped green chilly , and grated ginger saute it for a while
  • Now add finely chopped carrot,finely chopped french beans and green peas saute it
  • And add  1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp of red chilly powder, and salt as well saute it
  •  Cover it till vegetables nicely cooked
  • Now add roasted vermicelli and mix well .
  • Further 
    1 ½ 
    cups of water and stir it well
  • Allow the water comes to boil.
  • Then cover the pan till the vermicelli observe all the water 
  • Open the lid and add chopped coriander leaves and mix it well 
  • Now your vermicelli upma is ready to serve

Mint lemonade

Ingredients:
  • Mint leaves - 1 small bowl
  • Lemon - 4 tbsp
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Black salt - 1/4 tspn
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Plain soda water - 1 ½  cup
  • Ice cubes - 4 -5 

Direction:

  • Take a mixing jar and make a puree  of mint leaves , lemon juice , sugar and water 
  • Strain the mixer through a strainer
  • Take a glass add the mixed juice then add 1/4 tspn of black salt and  1½  cups of plain soda water
  • Stir well through a spoon and add the top with some ice cubes.
  • Garnish with a spring of mint leaf and lemon slice.

Banana Milk shake 

Preparetion timing 2 – 3 minutes

Ingredients:
  •   Ripe banana – 2
  •   Milk – 1cup
  •   Sugar – 4 teaspoon or (to taste)
  •    Ice cubes – 10 – 12
  •    Cardamom powder – 1 pinch for garnishing

Directions :
  •   Peel the skin of banana and cut them roughly.
  •   Take a mixing jar and put the Bananas and add  sugar, milk and ice    cubes
  •  Blend it until smooth and creamy texture
  •   Pour the mixer to serving jar and sprinkle cardamom powder
  •   Now serve it chilled

Butter milk
Preparation timing 15 minutes

Ingredients:
  • Curd / yogurt - 2 cups / 500ml
  • Mint leaves - 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leave- 1/4 cup
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Salt - 1 tspn
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • Black salt - 1/2 tspn
  • chilled Water - 
    1 ½ 
    cups
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tspn
  • Roasted cumiin Powder - 1/2 tsp

Direction:

  • Firstly make a puree of mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilly, and ginger
  • Grind it for at least 10 -15 seconds
  •  Add curd / yogurt and salt to the puree and  grind it for another 30 seconds
  •  Now the buttermilk is half done 
  • Take a mixing bowl and strain the mixture through a strainer 
  • Now add black salt 1/2 tspn, lemon juice 1 tbsp, chilled water 1 cup, black pepper powder 1/2 tspn and 1/2 tspn of roasted cumin powder
  • Take a hand blender and churn it  until  foamy texture
  • Pour the butter milk into serving glass sprinkle roasted cumin powder and garnish with a spring of mint leaf or coriander leaf.

Sweet Lassi
Preparation timing 5 minutes

Ingredients:
  • Curd / yogurt - 2 cups / 500ml
  • Powder sugar - 4 tbsp
  • Ice cubes - 6 -7
  • Milk - 1/4 cups
  • vanilla essence - 2-3 drops 
  • Mint leaf and cashew nuts for garnishing

Direction:

  • Firstly take a grinding jar add 2 cups of curd/ yogurt, 4tbsp of powder sugar, 4 - 5 of ice cubes and 2 -3 drops of vanilla essence
  • Grind the mixture for 2-3 minutes
  •  Transfer the lassi to a serving glass and garnish with some chopped cashew nuts and a spring of mint leaf.
  •  Now your sweet lassi is ready to serve

Mango Puree



preparation timing- 4-5 minutes

Ingredients:


  • Ripe mango - 400 gm or (2-3 large)
  • Sugar - 2 tspn or to taste
  • Ice cubes - 4 cubes
  • water - 1/2 cup
  • Cashew nuts for garnishing
Directions:

  • wash, peel and chop the mangoes into pieces
  • Discard the hard part (stone)
  • Transfer the mango pieces into a mixing jar
  • Add sugar, ice cubes and water
  • Blend it for 2-3 minutes
  • Transfer it to the serving pot and garnish with chopped cashew nuts
  • Serve it cool
